# Add your logo, colors and fonts

> Put your logo on your invoices, match your brand color and font, and remove the Invoice Falcon footer.

Use this guide if you want your invoices to look like your brand. By the end, your invoices show your logo, your accent color and your chosen font, and on the Pro plan, no Invoice Falcon footer.

## Before you begin

- Logo, color and fonts are set per template. If you use several templates, for example one for invoices and one for packing slips, set them on each.
- Logo files can be up to **500KB**. PNG or JPG work best.
- Adding or removing a logo saves right away. Color and fonts save when you click **Save changes**.
- Hiding the "Created with Invoice Falcon" footer needs the **Pro plan**. It applies to all your templates and your invoice emails.

## What customers will see

Your logo at the top of the invoice, the accent color on headings, lines or the header (depending on the design), and your font throughout. Unless you hide it, invoices also show a small "Created with Invoice Falcon" line at the bottom, and invoice emails show "Sent with Invoice Falcon".

## Open the editor

1. Open your Shopify admin and click **Invoice Falcon** in the left menu.
2. Click **Templates** in the app's menu, then click the template's name.
3. In the **Visual editor** section, click **Open visual editor**.

The settings below are under **Style** in the editor's sidebar.

## Add your logo

1. In the editor's sidebar, click **Logo**.
2. Under **Image**, drag your logo file onto the upload area, or click it to choose a file. The logo saves as soon as it uploads.
3. Under **Size**, drag the **Width** slider to resize the logo. It goes from 20 to 200.
4. Make sure **Enable** is ticked under **Display**.
5. Click **Save changes** in the bar at the top of the editor to keep the size and display settings.

Instead of uploading, you can paste a link to an image that is already online into **Or enter image URL**, then click **Save changes**.

To remove the logo, click **Remove** under the thumbnail. This also saves right away, and **Discard** won't bring it back. To hide the logo without deleting it, untick **Enable** and click **Save changes**.

## Set your color

1. In the editor's sidebar, click **Color**.
2. Pick a color in the color picker, or type a 6-character hex code in **Hex color**, for example `1A73E8`.
3. Click **Save changes**.

The color only changes once all 6 characters are typed.

## Set your font

1. In the editor's sidebar, click **Fonts**.
2. Under **Typeface**, choose a font from the **Font family** dropdown.
3. Under **Size**, drag the **Font Size** slider. It goes from 10px to 18px.
4. Click **Save changes**.

Some fonts may look different in the PDF than in the preview. **Open Sans** and **Noto Sans** are the safest choices. After changing the font, print a real invoice and check it.

## Hide the Invoice Falcon footer

On the **Pro plan**:

1. In the editor's sidebar, click **Branding**.
2. Tick **Hide "Created with Invoice Falcon" footer**.

This saves right away and applies to every template and to your invoice emails. On the Free plan, click **Upgrade to Pro to hide it** to see the upgrade options.

## Check your setup

1. Look at the preview on the right of the editor.
2. Open a real order from **Orders**, click **Actions**, then click **Print**. Check the logo size, color and font on the PDF.

## Troubleshooting

### The maximum is 500KB

Your logo file is too big. Resize it or export it at a lower quality, then upload it again.

### That file is not an image

Only image files can be uploaded. Save your logo as a PNG or JPG and upload that file.

### The logo doesn't show on the invoice

Check that **Enable** is ticked under **Display** in **Logo**, and that you clicked **Save changes**. If you pasted an image URL, open the link in your browser to make sure it loads.

### The font on the PDF isn't the one I chose

Some fonts aren't available when the PDF is made, so a similar font is used. Choose **Open Sans** or **Noto Sans**, save, and print again.

### There's no option to hide the footer

Hiding the footer needs the **Pro plan**. On the Free plan, **Branding** only shows **Upgrade to Pro to hide it**. See [Invoice Falcon pricing and plans](https://help.invoicefalcon.com/pricing-and-plans/).

### My other template has no logo

Logos are set per template. Open that template's visual editor and upload the logo there too.

## FAQ

### Will my new logo or color show on invoices I already sent?

Color and font changes show on existing invoices the next time they are printed, downloaded or sent, like any template change. A PDF a customer already downloaded doesn't change.

### Does my logo appear in the invoice email?

The logo is on the invoice PDF attached to the email. To change the email itself, see [Customize your invoice emails](https://help.invoicefalcon.com/customize-invoice-emails/).

### Can I use a different logo on packing slips?

Yes. Each template has its own logo, so upload a different one on your packing slip template.

### Does hiding the footer also remove it from emails?

Yes. The same setting removes "Created with Invoice Falcon" from PDFs and "Sent with Invoice Falcon" from invoice emails.

### What happens to the footer if I downgrade?

It comes back on all invoices and emails once your store no longer has the paid features.
