Invoice Falcon pricing and plans

What the Free and Pro plans include, and how to start, trial or change a plan.

Last updated

Use this guide to choose between the Free and Pro plans and to start the one you want. Free covers everyday invoicing for up to 50 orders and draft orders a month. Pro removes that limit and adds advanced features such as per-invoice editing, multicurrency invoices and a Pay now link.

  • Billing goes through Shopify. Pro is charged monthly on your Shopify bill, and you approve the charge on Shopify’s page.
  • You can see the current Pro price, and any offer for your store, on the Plans page in the app.
Plan Use it when
Free You invoice up to 50 orders and draft orders a month, and the features below cover what you need.

On the Free plan, Pro settings show a lock or an Upgrade to Pro link. Clicking it explains the feature and lets you upgrade.

  1. Open your Shopify admin and click Invoice Falcon in the left menu.
  2. Click Plans in the app’s menu. Your plan has a Current plan badge, and its button reads Subscribed.
  3. Optional: if you have a discount code, click Enter discount code at the top of the page, type the code, and click Apply. The discounted price appears on the plan card.
  4. Click the button on the plan you want:
    1. Start for free on the Free card.
    2. Start free trial on the Pro card.
  5. For Pro, Shopify opens its charge approval page. Click Approve. You come back to Invoice Falcon on the new plan.

You can also click Upgrade to Pro in the Plan box on the Orders page, which opens Plans. To move from Pro back to Free, see Cancel or downgrade your plan.

  • Free trial. Pro starts with a 14-day free trial, and you’re not charged until it ends. The trial is counted from the first day you started it. If you cancel and come back, you get only the days that were left, if any.
  • Launch offer. If an offer is available for your store, it’s applied for you when you open Plans, with no code needed. The Pro card shows the offer price next to the regular price, crossed out, and a note saying how many months the offer price lasts before the regular price applies. Click Start free trial on the Pro card to use it. If the card shows only the regular price, there’s no offer for your store.
  • Discount codes. A code you enter shows a green banner with its details. Codes are only used up once Shopify confirms the charge, so leaving the approval page doesn’t waste one.

On a Shopify Partner development store, the Free card is the free Partner plan: “Free for development stores, with every Pro feature”, with unlimited orders. Click Start for free on it. The Pro card can’t be selected on a development store.

  1. Click Orders in the app’s menu.
  2. In the Plan box, check that Plan shows your new plan, and that Invoices this month reads “of 50” on Free or “of unlimited” on Pro.
The offer price isn't on the Pro card

No offer is available for your store right now, or your store has already used it. Development stores and stores already paying for Pro don’t see offers.

I upgraded from a lock button and didn't get the offer

Upgrade now in an upgrade prompt starts Pro at the regular price. To get an offer, start Pro from the Plans page instead.

Invalid code

Check the spelling and try again. A code your store is already using can’t be applied again.

I approved Pro but I'm still on Free

If you see “Failed to activate the charges and select the plan”, open Plans again and click Start free trial. If it fails again, contact support from the chat in the app.

My trial didn't start

You’ve used your 14-day trial before on this store. Billing starts straight away when you subscribe again.

Is the Free plan really free?

Yes. Free costs nothing, with no time limit, for up to 50 orders and draft orders a month.

I installed before July 2026. Do I need Pro for the paid features?

No. Stores that installed Invoice Falcon before 8 July 2026 keep every Pro feature on the Free plan. The Free plan’s limit of 50 orders a month still applies to them.

Does upgrading change my existing invoices?

No. Your invoices, templates and settings stay as they are. Pro features are ready to turn on as soon as the plan is active.

Do my customers see which plan I'm on?

Only through the small “Created with Invoice Falcon” footer on Free plan invoices. Pro lets you hide it. See Add your logo, colors and fonts.

What happens when I reach 50 orders on Free?

Printing, downloading and emailing invoices for new orders stop until your count resets. There’s no extra charge. Upgrade to Pro to carry on straight away. See How the monthly invoice limit works.

Can I pay yearly?

No. Pro is billed monthly through Shopify.
